After several Texas-sized thunderstorms in our area we started to see roof shingles lying on the ground around the house. We contacted Jimmy and his team at Elite Roofing and Home Restoration who came out and provided an evaluation. I called our insurance company to get the process started and Jimmy worked with the insurance adjuster throughout the whole process.

This is the first time we’ve had a roof replaced and Jimmy helped guide us through the process. Between receiving the estimate and the work starting I was mobilized and deployed with my Army unit to Iraq. I coordinated the start date with Jimmy and the payment process with the insurance company. I was worried about leaving all of this responsibility with my wife, but Jimmy and his team made the process worry-free and were terrific partners throughout.

Jimmy’s customer service is superior and his work ethic is above reproach. His crew started the project when they said they would and cleaned up the job site at the end of each day. Due to a misplaced natural gas pipe close to the roof there was unavoidable damage during the roof replacement which caused our gas to be turned off for several days during some of the coldest nights in January. Jimmy took control of the situation and coordinated for a plumber to repair the damage which took care of my family while I was in Iraq.

Jimmy and his team provided much more value during the home project than we expected. He not only replaced the roof as initially discussed but he collaborated with my wife and now I have a backyard surprise waiting when I return from this deployment. Elite Roofing, Mr. Jimmy, is a hero in our household. We had a leak and we had three contractors tell us it was hail damage. I priced it out, called our insurance, did everything right (we are rule followers). The initial roofer I picked turned out to be a major piece of work, all talk. I am writing this review of services performed by Elite Roofing and Home Restoration because after calling numerous contractors and having difficulty finding one for the project I needed, Jimmy at Elite Roofing and Home Restoration turned out to literally be a God send. I needed to have my roof replaced, which was leaking badly, and my garage had been turned into living space and I wanted it turned back into a garage. Jimmy showed up and inspected the roof, surveyed the damage from the leak and assessed what it would take to turn my garage room back into a full functioning garage. From the time Jimmy submitted his written proposal to the end of the project, I knew I had selected the best contractor in DFW for the job. The job started on time and it finished on time. Jimmy, his workers and subcontractors all were so professional and everything they worked on they made sure they left everything cleaned and all trash hauled once they were done. My roof looks fantastic and we've had a lot of wind and rain in the area lately and it is holding up GREAT! My garage years earlier had been turned into living space and I really wanted to turn it back into a garage since I was no longer using the room for anything but storage. Well, needless to say converting that room back into a garage turned out far better than I expected and I have two new garage doors with automatic openers!!! I recently had Elite Roofing and Home Restoration (Jimmy Dejewski) complete a new roof, gutters and exterior paint on my home. The timing and workmanship were excellent. The coordination with my insurance company was smooth. They replaced several areas of rotted fascia and trim around the exterior and the new paint job is great. The new roof and gutters are also great, they replaced the shingle cover around my chimney with new hardy plank siding around the chimney and it looks so much better. Working with Jimmy, owner of Elite Roofing, exceeded my expectations by far. From day one, Jimmy took control of the whole process making everything effortless for my husband and I. He started out by inspecting our roof and property for damage, then, thoroughly explained the insurance process and expected outcomes from his company. He also answered all of our questions, as we had many as first time home owners. It was clear after meeting with Jimmy that we had met the man we wanted to help repair our home.

As with many reputable roofing companies in our area, Jimmy was booked out for weeks. We were willing to wait as we had heard many good reviews from fellow neighbors who had worked with Jimmy. About a week and half after he inspected the roof, we had a huge storm which caused a bigger leak in our roof and water dripping into the attic. I called Jimmy immediately and asked for help. Even in his booked schedule, he managed to expedite our new roof since we had water coming in.

The crew that constructed the new roof and gutters, painted the exterior of our home, and stained our fence all worked with diligence and on time. Jimmy would visit throughout the day checking on the crew’s progress. Jimmy’s right hand man was also on site through much of the process maintaining progress and keeping me updated with statuses.

My roof needed to be replaced because of the bad storms that happened in the Garland TX area in 2016. I knew Jimmy casually because we live in the same neighborhood and I knew what he did because he had done some work in the neighborhood.

So when my next door neighbor told me about shingles he had seen in his yard which he thought were from my roof, I contacted Jimmy - He came that same evening and inspected my roof free of charge. My husband contacted the insurance company and they at first gave us some problems which made me very concerned because the shingles were coming off my son's bedroom.

So in the time being Jimmy repaired some of it as we waited for insurance all for free. After the claim was finally approved he gave us the estimate and even upgraded the quality of the shingles for no additional cost. I own several properties and have replaced the roofs on all of them multiple times due to weather damage. The first instance that I needed a new roof, I hired a roofing company that came door-to-door after a storm, professing to be experts. I was younger and naïve, so I hired them. That was a huge mistake. The next time, a friend referred me to Elite Roofing, and Jimmy (Dejewski). Thank goodness he did. Jimmy and his team are unlike any other companies out there. From the first meeting, you can tell that (a) he truly cares; and (b) he is an expert at his craft. He also was able to put a new roof on my parents’ house.
